百星酒店是一所位于杭州千岛湖的五星级豪华酒店，可惜员工水平只值四星。总公司遂派不茍言笑的高管人员古黛进行改革，员工们苦不堪言且乌龙百出，但逐渐有所改进，终达至五星级水平，期间并促成多对美满姻缘 。。改编自Daphne du Maurier的小说Jamaica Inn Set in 1820 against the backdrop of the windswept Cornish moors, the story follows Mary’s journey when she is forced to live with an aunt at the eponymous inn after the death of her mother and discovers it to be the hub of a smuggling ring.。
