故事发生在1930年代的江南某地，早年丧妻的老包在秦府当差三十年，唯一的念想就是把儿子包国维抚养成才，有朝一日出人头地。包国维是省立中学三年级学生，平日里不思进取，天天和有钱人家少爷瞎胡混，期未考试竟有几门不及格，学校让他留级。得到消息的老包愁眉不展、哀声叹气。包国维并不感念父亲艰辛，反而觉着有这么个穷酸父亲丢人。老包低三下四借足了下学期的学费和校服费，但儿子却一昧追求阔少的作派，处处和有钱人攀比。开学后，他受同学唆使，打架伤了人，联想他放假期间轻薄女同学，学校对他做出了开除学籍的处罚，老包闻讯，自知已无力回天......。A traveling cellist gets involved with two disturbed sisters on their way to Seattle to tell their mom that their dad has just passed away. On the way, the two kill a judge and a few others unknown to the cellist. Eventually he gets pinned for the crimes and is forced to defend himself.。Year 2003, Irene a young film student who is preparing a short film.
