A scientist performing illegal stem cell research is trying to find a cure for cancer. After the transfer of shark cells is made into a human test subject, the ill man gets well again and it looks like the treatment was a success. But the experiment goes wrong, and the man transforms into monster: half-shark & half-human. But the scientist knows how to use this to his advantage...。1959年夏季近尾的时候，台湾中南一带发生了六十年未遇的大灾难，称之为八七水灾，受灾人数30多万，受灾地区堤防溃决，田园损毁，受灾人民在生活的压力下，不得不向北部的卫星城市迁移，他们憨厚、朴实、刻苦、耐劳、正直。主人公一家人就是他们中的一员，他们点点滴滴的生活写照成为了历史洪流中的沧海一粟。。
