When the remains of two murdered Princes are discovered at the Tower of London, a troubled Priest must put his beliefs aside to befriend a mysterious prisoner, who has supernatural powers to communicate with the dead. Together they must solve the mystery of who murdered the Princes, as prisoners in the castle dungeon meet their bloody fates at the hands of the Princes' ghosts, ...。随着科技的不断发展，人类赖以生存的地球却受到越来越严重的污染和威胁。某天，一架巨大的飞碟出现在地球上空，引起各国民众一片恐慌，谁也不知道这个不速之客将对他们的命运带来怎样的影响。飞碟最终降落在美国华盛顿公园的中央，当地警察和军队倾巢出动。飞碟被全副武装的军人和好奇的民众团团围住，经过两个小时的对峙，悬梯从飞碟中缓缓探出。随着舱门的打开，一个身形与人类别无二致的外星人克拉图（Michael Rennie 饰）和全身金属的机器人出现在众人面前。这两个外星人似乎为了地球的命运而来，他们表示出友好，却未得到应有的回报……
