改革开放的最前沿广州又迎来了阳光明媚的崭新一天，海外有人接踵而来，见证着这座古老国度走向繁荣的最重要时刻。这一天，香港某公司老板刘守德带着妖艳的情妇李丽、私人医生包可治以及雇员郭有祥来到广州一处自然风景区观光游览，而李丽的男朋友也尾随而至。他们一路游山玩水，欣赏演出，好不逍遥。谁知无忧无虑的快乐时光并未持续多久，毫无征兆的一个早晨，刘守德被人发现死在宾馆附近的长椅上。因涉及港澳同胞，公安机关迅速组织人员展开调查，期间发现刘所带来的四万元港币也不翼而飞。所有的相关人员均有无法推脱的嫌疑，谁才是真正的凶手……
