터닝메카드(애니메이션)의 2기. 전작처럼 더빙 연출은 계인선 PD이다. 2016년 5월 19일부터 터닝메카드 W라는 이름으로 KBS2에서 방영되었다. 방송 시간은 오후 5시 30분이었다가 15화부터 오후 5시로 변경되었다. 이번 시즌도 전 시즌처럼 총 52화의 에피소드로 구성된 것이나 이번 시즌은 전작과 달리 52화의 에피소드가 통으로 방영되는 것이 아니라 전/후반부(Part 1 & Part 2)로 나뉘어 각각 26화의 에피소드가 방영될 예정이라고 한다. 즉 다시말해서 분할 4쿨이다. 따라서 현재 방영중인 전반부의 이야기는 26화에서 마무리되며 후반부는 잠시 휴식기를 가진 뒤 방영될 예정이라고 한다. 다만 후반부의 방영일은 아직 확정되지 않은 듯 하다.
