讲述许大呜在十年动乱中被发配到青海牧场，如今他官复原职，又调回第九羊毛衫厂继续任厂长。10年前，他与担任副厂长的妻子曲文娣志同道合，进行了一场"春兰牌"和"秋菊牌"羊毛衫产品质量的竞赛。现在他还想将那场竞赛继续下去，谁知工厂状况已经改变，曲文娣也没了当年的锐气....。夏琳（尹胜雅 饰）是一个十九岁的女孩，在学业的道路上，夏琳走得并不是很顺利。如今站在人生的分岔路口上，前方是令她眼花缭乱的绚烂花花世界，夏琳一时之间失去了方向感，不知道该做出怎样的选择。
