沈晚晴和母亲为帮养子叶沉舟还上百万欠债辛苦工作，母亲积劳成疾，叶沉舟却拿着她们的血汗钱肆意挥霍，直到母亲去世，沈晚晴方才得知叶沉舟欠债百万竟然都是对方考验自己的谎言，恰逢首富父亲归来，沈晚晴决心复仇。李子雄，王敏德，陈欣健三人是好友，一起从香港到台湾从事一宗伪钞的买卖，不料遭到李的表哥张权陷害。另一方面，李子雄一直暗恋王的妻子，引起了陈的误会。这个复杂的关系在六年前导致王在台入狱，六年后则在香港展开了复仇行动。本片特别以"朋友妻不可戏"的内疚心理为戏剧焦点，在港产犯罪片之中则独具特色。导演王龙威的述事手法流畅，火拼场面也精彩。。In 1966 the Spanish Army built a huge cemetery with over 5000 graves at Mirandilla Valley in Burgos for the final sequence in the film "The Good the Bad and the Ugly".
