孙智慧厌倦了出生的秘密、不伦、财阀等故事公式，因此想要写一部不一样的日日剧，于是创作出一个关于三名中年男性朋友的有趣故事。剧情描绘三个朋友成为甲方、乙方的关系后，因“钱”而感情生变，她想从中探讨金钱如何影响爱情、友情、亲情，并透过父母、孩子间的世代理解，思索在发现意外之财或损失金钱时，身边重要的人才是“大运”的真正意义。The psychological drama centers on Jessica and Karl, loving parents to Rhiannon, who after years of trying to add to their family are elated to adopt Gabby, an 8-year-old orphan born with personal challenges.
