金刚王（释延能 饰）和哥哥在年幼时被海盗从中国福建贩卖到位于日本的哈迪斯神社，接受残忍的搏杀训练。八年后，已经成为哈迪斯最顶级杀手的金刚王逃回中国，幸遇南少林宗师而成为一个爱国主义者，从事反抗日本侵略活动，几年后被南少林封为金刚王。
