Plebs follows three desperate young men from the suburbs...。本片为程刚在1981年编导之赌片. 宗华与李修贤饰赌术精湛的流氓千王，李在澳门赌场被陈萍饰的千后击倒后，遂回港与宗密谋一雪其耻, 出千骗财, 开设豪华赌场, 欲将陈诱得入局...。在英帝国主义统治下的华北某煤矿，矿工过着悲惨的生活，生命毫无保障。矿工的儿子路子十三岁失去了父母，被迫当矿工。在大风雪的寒夜，路子和他的小伙伴石头、顺子、二豆子几个童工无家可归，围着烤白薯的炉子过夜。抗日战争时期，日本帝国主义以军事武力统治了煤矿，更加残酷的剥削工人。王福厚由于年老，被监工活活地埋了。路子他们去杀监工，为他报仇，结果石头反而送了命，后来在地下党员傅东山的启发和教育下，矿工们进行有组织的罢工，取得了胜利。。
