一对情侣须眉和少杰在深山里踏青，碰到了一个疯子，嘴里喃喃自语：不要去啊，不要去啊！须眉和少杰走散，走进了一幢废墟，看到了一座灵位。这时候，有蛇从天而降！更遭到了不明人士的袭击！少杰及时赶到，须眉脱离了危险，却昏了过去。回到家里的须眉却开始有了奇怪的行为……。Volker Schlöndorff transposes Bertolt Brecht’s late-expressionist work to latter-day 1969.
