该剧改编自多罗泽道的同名漫画，讲述在东京神乐坂开宠物医院的年轻兽医高元寺达也与动物、饲主们心灵交流的温暖故事。 高元寺达也医生是个很有人情味的人，不管对动物还是对饲主们都很温柔。他从曾经工作的动物医院辞职后，回到老家，和叫德丸的动物医生一起工作，但是，德丸突然把医院交给达也，然后便不见了踪影。达也虽然困惑，但还是留下来，与可爱的动物展开奇妙之旅。。Set in a small town in West Texas, four boyhood friends who made a solemn promise to leave town together immediately after high school graduation must now "put up or shut up." The clock is ticking, and as all 81 people in town watch, offer advice, and place bets, these four very different boys struggle with the biggest decision of their lives . . . whether to stay or leave home...。
