一天，庄金斗与另一位住客发现一名打扮古怪的女人偷偷进出闹鬼房间，形迹可疑，他们便设计捉拿这“闹鬼事件”的幕后主持人。怎料，原来这名女士是新婚丈夫长云的旧相好，长云为了迎娶有钱妻子，不惜杀人灭口，摆脱旧爱的羁绊，犹幸旧爱未亡。她便暗地里扮鬼骚扰这负心汉，使他永无宁日，新婚妻子知道丈夫郎心如铁后，便与他离婚。最后，长云人财两空，一无所有。事过境迁，老爷酒店又回复昔日欢乐气氛。。
