罡实（程东 饰）和毛小方曾是同门师兄弟，之后被逐出师门，如今，罡实带着养女秀雷（文颂娴 饰）投奔毛小方，善良的毛小方收留了两人。毛小方本以为罡实早已经改邪归正，哪知道他此次的目的竟然是抢夺掌门令牌，更修炼了南阳邪术导致走火入魔。与此同时，科学研究员舒宁（黎淑贤 饰）和警察厅队长宋子隆（尹天照饰）也对毛小方穷追不舍。一时间，毛小方腹背受敌，举步维艰。。
